Bringing the Nicklaus Legacy to Life at the Cognizant Classic

Designing for Impact at the Intersection of Golf & Giving

Few names in golf carry as much prestige as Jack Nicklaus, and his Golden Bear legacy extends far beyond the greens—it’s woven into the very identity of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. At the Cognizant Classic, where the hospital serves as the main beneficiary, this connection takes center stage. I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to this high-profile event, bringing the Nicklaus Neighborhood to life with branded visuals that celebrated the hospital’s mission, patient stories, and charitable impact.

Located by the 18th tee, the Nicklaus Neighborhood served as a vibrant hub for attendees, featuring interactive games, larger-than-life murals, and patient stories that put a face to the cause. Seeing my design work embedded in such an immersive experience—where golf enthusiasts, donors, and families all came together—was a rewarding challenge. This year, the Cognizant Classic raised over $6.5 million, with $2 million directly benefiting Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation, helping to expand pediatric care access for children and families in need. Through thoughtful event branding, we seamlessly bridged the excitement of professional golf with the heart of philanthropy, reinforcing the hospital’s role in transforming pediatric care for generations to come.
